St Pauls Adventure Playground is an open access play setting for 8 – 13 year olds. Younger children are welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. (18+) The setting is fully inclusive and has disabled access throughout the building, outside space and play structures. All staff on site are CRB checked and hold relevant qualifications e.g. food hygiene and first aid certificates.

The playground has a large building boasting a kitchen, art room, sensory room / film room, reading & relaxing area, pool, table tennis, table football and plenty of space to play board & card games and do drawing and colourings. The main room also transforms into a CHAMP and crash matt arena on certain days. Outside are large play structures, swings, zip wire, football & basketball court and large play area. The playground also has a gardening area, fire pit and BBQ shack which is used throughout the year.

We provide a wide range of play activities for the children who attend our sessions including sports, arts and crafts, nature and gardening, fire activities, Bike maintenance and games, hair and nail activities, group games and cooking activities. We also deliver targeted groups and activities developed in consultation with the children and parents we work with. Themed and curriculum based activities also run throughout the year such as: Black history month, Halloween, anti-bullying and Christmas. In the school holidays we try our best to provide trips and more varied activities such as: graffiti projects and bike rides.

Snacks are available every session and only costs 50p. Examples of snack are: Beans on toast, hotdogs (chicken sausage), cheese toasties and soup.

Partnership Work:

We work closely with organisations such as: Life Cycle, who provide our bike maintenance and games session every week. The local police, St Pauls Children’s Centre, children’s scrapstore and many more.
