Neighbourhood Partnership Area:

Easton & Lawrence Hill

Facilities and activities

The playground has a large play building containing a kitchen, toilets/shower, staff office and a craft room where a range of creative activities for children take place. The main room contains a pool table, table football and pianos.  Games consoles and table games are available to give the opportunity for children to talk together and there is a small soft play room if children would like some quiet time. Outside there is a large play structure, an outdoor stage, swings and a sports court, an enclosed under 5’s area for parents with young children to relax and a conservation area.

Easter programme.

The building is all on one level so no steps are involved. The main room and side rooms have disabled access from the main door and separate access to outside areas if necessary.  The fully accessible toilets/shower have changing facilities and an electronic hoist.

Recent developments

Felix Road is moving from being a Council-run provision to being managed by the local community.
As part of the transition we are developing the playground with the help of The Arts Council England. Recent developments have included a large scale mural project with the children and improvement of our arts room. The next two major projects are a music tower, and a studio suit with keyboards, guitars, drums and software-based facilities.
There is always lots going on here, with fresh food in the pizza oven or on the fire, dancing on the stage, adventure challenges across the playground, and thousands of other opportunities for playful adventures. Expect a warm welcome and a full belly...
Felix Road is attracting attention from all over the South West and even across the country; come and see what the fuss is about.
